Sheryl Beard, MD

I grew up in a suburb of Wichita Kansas. I graduated with my MD  from the University of Kansas School of Medicine Wichita in 1999.  I entered residency at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine-Wichita, Family Medicine Residency at Via Christi and graduated from that program in 2002.  After Residency training I joined the United States Air Force where I was stationed at McConnell AFB, Kansas.  After the Air Force I spent a short time in private practice prior to entering my academic career at Via Christi where I was a faculty member for 11 years. In  2019, I began a short time in private practice for Ascension Medical Group. Now I serve as the Chief Medical Officer for Ascension Hospitals, Kansas.  I have been married for 25 years to Steve, have two lovely daughters Isabel and Helen, and one grandson, Clint.
