Matthew Porter, MD

Dr. Porter completed medical school at UT Health (San Antonio) in 1993 and residency at the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) in 1996.  He has practiced family medicine in Waco, Texas since, including at Baylor Scott & White until 2005 and subsequently at a Federally Qualified Health Center.  In addition to family medicine, Dr. Porter is board certified (CAQ) in hospice and palliative care medicine and serves as a hospice medical director. He is a Fellow of the AAFP and serves as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner and physician assistant students. He is married and has four adult children.
