Joseph Dougherty, MD

Dr. Dougherty is a board-certified family physician with a CAQ in Sports Medicine.  He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, his MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan and his MD from West Virginia University.  He completed residency at UPMC St. Margaret and sports medicine fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital.


Dr. Dougherty has been involved in graduate medical education for 13 years. He passionately believes in returning healthcare back to the precepts of the original Hippocratic oath, Do No Harm.
